Have a different seating arrangement

I like the atmosphere of the pub with the "fire", other people, music (not too loud, thanks Madeline) and even the TV sports. A "meeting room" would be very sterile by comparison unless we had a strong organisation, topic, speaker, organised food and drink, etc. Would people be comfortable standing around bar tables? Those who wanted to get off their feet could use stools. That would allow mobility AND (more than one) focus. Can someone suggest a venue with such tables? Downstairs at Molly Malone's? The Back Bencher? The Southern Cross?
